I asked him if that meant he thought I was crazy. He said no, he was just reminded how everyone thought she was crazy then found out she was right.

Many people are ignorant or are in denial, believing this is a run of the mill recession. The reality is that this is an unprecedented global systemic financial system failure that will trivialize the Great Depression. I, like many others, think this is a good thing. People will either devolve and move back into caves or evolve into a healthier humanity. I believe that while it will be painful and many will suffer, humanity will evolve to a new level of spirituality, creativity, ingenuity, and cooperation.

The brewing "perfect storm" of unemployment, economic contraction, inflation, elimination of social safety nets, food shortages, and the when, not if, collapse of the US dollar creates a potential for civil unrest beginning as early as 3rd quarter 2009. Where's the best place(s) to be during the global economic implosion and fall out? What are some of the ways to reduce the human toll of the perfect storm?
